Mark Drake is a veteran communications and research professional with extensive experience in crisis management, rapid response and strategic message development. Before founding his own public relations and research firm, Mark served as communications manager for a large commercial real estate holding company, overseeing internal and external communications. In this role, he handled all aspects of media relations, creating media opportunities and responding to press inquiries.
As an associate director of communications for a Fortune 25 health and well-being company, Mark was responsible for implementing public relations programs that generated positive media coverage. He served as a national spokesperson, working regularly with media, government officials and community groups as part of a corporate social responsibility program to help prevent hunger, diabetes and obesity.
Recognized by the national publication Campaigns & Elections magazine as one of the Top 100 “Minnesota Influencers,” Mark has held senior communications and research positions in support of presidential, statewide and local political candidates.
A native of Mankato, Minn., Mark graduated cum laude from St. Olaf College. He earned his master’s degree with thesis honors from The George Washington University. He lives in St. Paul with his wife and two sons.
